Calculation Formula
Cement Requirement = (Total Volume × 1.54 × Cement Ratio) / (Sum of Ratios) × 1440 kg/m³
Where 1.54 is the dry volume factor, 1440 kg/m³ is cement density, and ratios are based on mix design (e.g., 1:4 = 1 part cement to 4 parts sand).

For mortar (brickwork), use 1:6 ratio. Input wall dimensions (L×W×Thickness) and reduce aggregate size. Mortar requires finer sand than concrete.
8. Why different bag sizes?
Cement bags come in 20kg, 25kg, and 40kg sizes. 20kg is standard for manual handling. Choose larger bags for big projects to reduce packaging waste and cost.
9. How to store leftover cement?
Store unopened bags off the ground in dry conditions. Use within 3 months. Opened bags should be used within 24 hours or discarded - hardened cement loses strength.
