Reverse calculate sales tax allows you to calculate the tax-exclusive price from the total price and tax percentage. By entering the final price (including tax) and the sales tax rate, you can determine the original price before tax was applied.
Formula for Reverse Calculate Sales Tax:
Original Price = Final Price / (1 + Tax Rate)
where Tax Rate is represented as a decimal (e.g., 10% = 0.10)
How to Use:
1. Enter the final price (the total amount including tax) in the "Final Price" field.
2. Enter the sales tax rate in percentage in the "Sales Tax Rate (%)" field.
3. Click the "Calculate" button to get the tax-exclusive price.
4. If you want to clear the form, click the "Clear" button.
